On November 17 (Sat), 2018, we are going to an orchard in Kazeenooka-noen, Kotake, Koga City, Fukuoka Prefecture to pick some oranges. And you are invited to join us. This activity is called mikan-gari (みかん狩り) in Japanese. Mikan (or Satsuma Orange) is one of the most widely grown oranges in Japan and you will have the experience to pick them yourself and eat as much as you want in one setting.
After which, we are going to see the West Japan Chrysanthemum Exhibition hosted at Munakata Taisya. They will feature over 3,000 pots of a wide variety of Chrysanthemums coming from the different Prefectures in Kyushu and Yamaguchi Prefecture.
The participation fee is ¥600.
We are going to depart at 2:00 P.M. from Agape House-Fukuoka and we are expected to return around 6:00 P.M.
