2019 Short-Term Mission Team from So Young Ro Church, Busan City, South Korea

It’s summer time again and So Young Ro Church of Busan, Korea is sending over 250 college students and young professionals to over 30 churches in Northern Kyushu (Fukuoka, Oita, Saga and Kumamoto Prefectures). This year, Agape House-Fukuoka is going to host a team of 8 members from July 9-17, 2019.

They will engage in daily morning devotions, prayer and worship, join the regular Bible studies, learn about missions and evangelism in Japan, engage in evangelistic activities such as Gospel tracts and Bible distributions, and feeding the homeless. They will also help in repairing the kitchen floor and walls of our church facility. So, you are requested to join us in praying for these young people that they will have a fruitful time serving the LORD with us.

The schedule of activities for this Short-term Mission is as follows:

• July 9-10
  • Distribution of Bibles and Gospel Tracts at Kyusandai-mae, Yoshizuka and Chihaya JR Train Stations
• July 10-11
  • Repair of Walls and Kitchen floor in Agape House-Fukuoka
• July 12
  • Homeless Feeding Activity at Reisen Park from 1:30 P.M. The food preparation would start at 8:30 A.M. in Agape House-Fukuoka.
• July 13
  • International Day at Sopia Shingu, Japanese Hall 1& 2 from 1:00 P.M.
• July 14
  • Joint Worship Service at Agape House-Fukuoka from 3:00 P.M. . A potluck dinner and fellowship time follows right after this worship service from 5:00 P.M.
• July 15
  • Joint Sports Day & BBQ Party at Koga Civic Gymnasium from 10:00 A.M. Basketball, Badminton and Volleyball will be played. The BBQ Party will be held at Koga Gorakugaoka Christ Church from 1:00 P.M. 
• July 16
  • Tour Around Fukuoka
  • Joint Worship Service at Shinsei Christ Church from 3:00 P.M.
